I sent this request to 911 this morning.  I wonder if it will get their attention.

I am requesting and equipment list and the location of that equipment that was purchased with the Homeland Security grant.  Where are the 7 repeaters that came with the grant?  Do you still have them stored at the 911 center?  Are we leasing repeaters from anyone and if so, what channels they operate?  I also want the minutes for July, 2008 and August, 2008 as soon as they are available.  I also need a new list of frequencies with tones being used by the county and the location of the towers as I need to program a couple of radios for customers.  I also would like a list of the frequencies we are leasing from Smith 2-Way, the amount we are paying for these, their locations, the frequency they are operating for us and the tones that open them.

Question to the public--an anyone tell me why the 911 center is using our tax money to build a tower for Smith 2-Way.  I thought the law said the government entity cannot lease tower space to private corporations. Give me your opinions.  Email is eric@awfulstuff.com or call me at 417 845 7117.
